We are actively seeking a self-motivated and talented writer who has a solid understanding of social media. Candidate’s main responsibility will be to research and produce blog content for our home decor online store. Candidate will work closely with the company Founders to navigate the social media aspect of the website.
Job Summary:
Answer questions and engage in dialogue, create and maintain an editorial calendar, suggest content ideas, and write daily updates in the social media space, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Superior communication, writing skills are a MUST!
Must be comfortable to accept direction and guidance.
Identify and develop contacts and relationships with bloggers.
Helping company founders with relationships/networking.
Promote and market the new online store to create a buzz and build a brand.
Blogger must be an avid self-educator who can stay on top of trend ideas and topics.
10-15 hours per week availability. Work from home.
PREFERRED: Journalism/blogging experience with a passion for design. Experience using the WordPress blog publishing platform.
